- Periodic information for you on the medical benefits of massage therapy via email and/or Facebook (should you choose to know more)
- Respond to your preferences for your massage - changing focus from one set of muscles to another, or giving you the comfort and regularity of the same massage you love. When it comes to talking we'll respect your preference during massage for silence, to chat, or both at different times in your massage - at your direction!

Colin grew up north of London, England, the son of working-class Irish parents. He graduated from the University of Sussex, England
with a degree in History in 1987 and went on to work for British Telecom. In 1994, he moved to the United States to study at the
University of Houston, Texas where he earned an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) in 1996.
After 10 years in corporate HR
working in recruitment and management, he resigned from the US corporate world and later trained at the Onondaga School of Therapeutic
Massage in Rochester, NY. He graduated from the full-time, 1000 hour program in 6 months and received his New York State License
in September 2008 (license #27 022402).
In 2009, Colin opened Renewing-Massage in the South Wedge working part-time; by April 2010
he had developed a strong client base enabling him to work as full-time massage therapist. A member of the
American Massage Therapy Association, Colin is legally married to his partner of
nearly 10 years, Michael. Michael teaches French in City School District teacher and Rochester native, they live happily and proudly
in the South Wedge with their 14 year old dog Bella. Together they co-own South Wedge Wellness LLC.
